NETWORK
The
network of the Western Telecom region consist
of very high capacity Optical Fibre cable system,Digital Microwave
system and Satellite systems. Large cities are covered by
Gigabit/s DWDM systems.Towns and smaller stations are coverd
by STM rings. Network relialibity is designed to standards
of BSNL.Whole operations are monitored through Network Management
Systems ( NMS)
The
Network caters the need of STD,ISD,Telegraph , Internet,
Data & Cellular Mobile circuits.Circuit provisioning &
availability are designed to meet the prescribed grade of
service.
The
Region also cater the need of leased circuits of different
users, private basic service providers , Cellular service
provider , internet service providers etc.
